BWSS ARMap does not collect any kind of information or data, meaning no personal information whatsoever as well.
The camera permission is needed because after application start the Augmented Reality engine (Sceneform) scans the surroundings to find the specific activator image pattern. Recognition of the image will trigger the placement of the augmented class room signs.
On top of that constant camera video stream is necessary to provide the actual reality part of the augmented reality experience. BWSS ARMap does not record, save or transfer any of the camera, bluetooth, location or any kind of sensor or other data whatsoever.
The app doesn't contain any advertisement framework and does not require any authentication either.
Since no data is collected, securing data is not applicable at this point and there's nothing to transfer either.
